"Over the last 14 years the Flottemesch Family has helped me create a home with cabinets, woodwork and details that you’ll find in few homes today. Our first project with Flottemesch Woodworking, a library room/study, includes custom floor-to-ceiling raised panels/ millwork, cabinetry and shelves crafted in maple with a custom finish. I had a general idea of what I wanted, and Jimmy took my ideas and created a room that is truly spectacular.
Since that first project, I have had them complete multiple projects for my home over many years. I get so many compliments on all the their work, especially our lower level. For this project, we worked together to select truly unique hardwoods that I love, including wormy butternut and Australian cypress, for a look that I don’t think anyone else would have been able to create. It’s true retreat, and magazine-worthy! Jimmy is a spectacular designer in addition to being a true craftsman.
Jimmy has excellent project management skills and works with his team to ensure the project is exactly to our specifications. Additionally, he is very friendly, outgoing and a pleasure to work with; calls are returned promptly, updates are giving on schedule, etc., and this is true of his employees as well. The craftsmanship and custom finishing work on all the projects his team has created has been superior. The Flottemesch family has a “no project is too small” attitude, and whatever I’ve needed they’ve delivered exactly as anticipated, and more – plus they’re honest about timing and work within my budget.
